Student Council
Frye's Student Council is comprised of fourth, fifth, and sixth grade students. Student Council members are expected to be responsible and respectful both inside and outside of the classroom as they are the ultimate leaders of our school. Our club meets weekly and coordinates spirit days, Dress Down for $1, Smencils fundraising, donations/drives, and Candy Gram sales. Our officers are expected be in attendance and help run all of our school fundraising events, including Peter Piper Pizza nights, Monster Mash, Family Nights, and more. As a club, we work closely with our PTO and help fund and show appreciation to our teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week and throughout the year. We also have the opportunity to attend different field trips, including our district's Student Council Convention, Feed My Starving Children, and our end-of-the-year field trip to Main Event! How We Give Back
2026-2027
- This year we're partnering with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central and Northern Arizona to collect pop tabs for families in need. Please give all non-magnetic pop tabs to your child's teacher. The pop tabs will be recycled through RMHC and the money will be used to fund homes for families in our community.
- We are also partnering with The Crayon Initiative to recycle old crayons for children in the hospital. Classroom teachers will be collecting crayons before Student Council members organize and ship them.
- Circle the City is another organization we will be working with this year. We will be creating Kindness Kit hygiene bags to be distributed to those facing homelessness in our community.
- Student Council members will be attending their annual field trip to Feed My Starving Children to pack meals for the malnourished.
- STUCO runs our school's annual Kids Heart Challenge fundraiser to raise money for kids with special hearts.
- Our Student Council sponsors the Dr. Paul Ritz Leadership Scholarship through the Chandler Education Foundation for a former Frye senior in need of financial assistance for college.
- As always, Student Council will be holding a canned food drive to collect food for the Chandler Care Center.
